Tonita Kay Dale, 74, of Corley Caress Rd, Flatwoods, WV passed away on February 5, 2015 at Braxton Health Rehabilitation Center in Sutton. She was born in Weston, WV on June 24, 1940 and was the daughter of the late Arnold Tonkin and Marbia Tonkin.
Left to honor her memory are daughters, Lisa Stewart (Jeff) of Flatwoods, WV and Michelle Duckworth (Tim) of Cowen, WV; grandson, Adam Flynn (Jill) of Zanesville, OH; great-grandchild, Mason Flynn also of Zanesville, OH. Also surviving are brothers, Vernon Tonkin (Rita) of Burnsville, Don Mark Tonkin (Vicki) of Corley, WV; sister, Linda Kinder (Jim) of Flatwoods.
Tonita was Methodist by faith and attend the Corley United Methodist Church. Tonita loved animals and was an avid reader. Tonita also loved children, and was active in the grandparent program at Davis Elementary. Most of all, Tonita loved her family and cherished the time spent with them.
A Memorial Service will be held in honor of Tonita Kay Dale at the Corley United Methodist Church at a later date. Words of sympathy and fond memories may be expressed to the family at stockert-paletti.com.
