Mabel Lea Lamb, 84, of Sutton, WV passed away Friday, September 01, 2017, at her home. She was a 60 plus year resident of the Town of Sutton. She was born June 4, 1933 at Cora, WV in Marion County to the late Lee Shaver and Fanny (Crites) Shaver. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Ernest Lamb.
She is survived by her sister, Clara Shaver of South Charleston.
Mabel was a Methodist by faith and was a member of the Rebecca Lodge/Nobel Grand in Gassaway, WV and a member of City Council of the Town of Sutton. She was employed at the Midway Hotel and Foodland. She was the owner of the Superior Lunch in Sutton, WV for 14 years.
Per Mabel request Immediate Burial will take place in the Birch River Cemetery, Birch River, WV on Sunday, September 3, 2017.
