Crawford Edwin  Rayl
Crawford Edwin Rayl, 75, of Flatwoods, WV, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV. He was born September 11, 1942 in East Liverpool, OH to the late Ralph Rayl and Lenoa (McCoon) Rayl. Also preceding him in death is a daughter, Kristine Lynn Rayl and sisters, Phyliss Snyder, Leaon Mae Moore and Shirley Rayl.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley Jane (Freeman) Rayl; daughters, Sherry (Gilmer Jr.) Dennison ; brothers, Fred Snyder, Eddie (Darlene) Rayl, Jimmy Rayl, Sonny (Debbie) Rayl; 4 grandchildren, Blake Dennison, Grant Dennison and Rachel Dennison all of Little Birch, WV and Katelynn (Cody) Mace, Centralia.
Mr. Rayl served his Country in the United States Navy and attended and was a member of Victory Apostolic Church. He loved fishing and reading westerns. Louis Lamar was one of his favorite authors and he collected any of his books that he could find. He enjoyed sports, but his greatest joy was when he was able to spend time with his family. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, March 11, 2018 from 3-5 p.m. at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home, 378 Flatwoods Corner Road, Flatwoods, WV 26621. Funeral Services will follow calling hours and start at 5:00 p.m. at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Allen officiating. Crawford will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery in Akron, OH at a private service on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 2 p.m. Fond memories and condolences can be expressed to the family at stockert-paletti.com
