Arletia Gray Wine, 87, of Flatwoods, WV passed away March 14, 2018 at the Braxton Health Care Center, Sutton, WV. She was born April 13, 1930 at Falls Mill, WV and was the daughter of the late Guy Teter and Ona (Dean) Teter. Also preceding her in death was a brother, Emanuel (Marty) Teter; sisters, Harriett Bennett, Delores Stalnaker and Bonnie Maynard and one grandson, Storm Jackson Wine.
Surviving are sons, Everett Jackson (Tracey) Wine, Weston, WV, Jeffrey Guy Wine, Corley, WV and Joe Edward Wine, Corley, WV; daughters, Patricia Ann (Buckey) Pritt, Copen, WV, Katherine Gray Meckley, Sutton, WV, Martha Elaine (Jody) Asbury, Sutton, WV; brother, Raymond Teter, Fall Run, WV and sister Wanda Rowan, OH; 19 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Arletia loved anything to do with gardening and flowers and spent many hours outside working or just enjoying her garden. Her favorite game show was the Price is Right and the soap opera, The Young and the Restless. She spent many hours sitting and reading her Bible. Most of all, she loved babies and her family.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, March 18, 2018 from 1-3 p.m. at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home, 378 Flatwoods Corner Road, Flatwoods, WV 26621. Funeral Services will follow calling hours and start at 3:00 p.m. at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home with Reverend Tom Propst officiating.
