Obituary for Ginger Lee Vincent (Brown)

Ginger Lee (Brown) Vincent, 71, of Bridgeport, WV, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at her home, on Saturday, August 28, 2021. She was born on May 13, 1950 in Braxton County, WV; a daughter of the late Isaac Rush Brown and Mildred Sue (Ratliff) Brown. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by grandchild Ross Martin, Sister Betty Ann Cleveland.
One December 22, 1979 she married Richard Harvey Vincent who survives.
In addition to her husband Ginger is survived by children Lorri Sue Hickman and husband Josh of Kincheloe, WV, Leigh Ann Nutter and husband Scott of Bridgeport, WV, and Jonathan Vincent of Clarksburg. Also surviving grandchildren Brianna Victoria Welsh, Rossalyn Jade Martin, Kaylee Elizabeth Clifton, Hayden Scott Nutter, Dalton Nutter, Alexander James Vincent, and Samuel Issac Vincent. In addition to her children, grandchildren she is also survived by siblings and in-laws brother-in-law Jerry Cleveland of Alabama, brothers Donald Issac Brown and wife Susan of Roanoke, WV, Mildred Sue Kearns of Clarksburg, WV, Daniel Rush Brown (Rusty) and wife Susie of Roanoke, WV, and Jimmy Lynn Brown and wife Sandy of Ohio, and several nieces and nephews.
Ginger enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, gardening and her favorite flowers where Yellow Roses, and she was an excellent cook known for chicken and biscuits and creamed tomatoes. She was a member of the Brushy Fork CEO’s, and was a member of the Golden Rule Rebekah Lodge # 89 in Clarksburg, WV.
Family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home, 378 Flatwoods Corner Rd, Flatwoods, WV from 2-8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Russell Furr officiating. Interment will follow services in the Little Kanawha Memorial Gardens, Heaters, WV. Words of comfort and fond memories can be expressed to the family at stockert-paletti
