Obituary for Melvin "Junior" Wine
Melvin Junior Wine, 78, of Copen, WV passed away on December 1, 2022 at home. Junior was born on October 25, 1944 to parents Melvin and Etta Wine.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Letcher Wine, Elmer Wine and Jerry Wine.
Junior was a retired school bus driver for the Braxton County Board of Education and worked several years out of the IBEW electrical union. He was a member of the Copen United Methodist Church. Junior loved spending time with his family especially the grandbabies.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah; sons: Melvin Gregory Wine, Jeffrey Scott Wine, Christopher “Chad” Chadwick Wine (Marsha) and sister: Amy Leigh (Wine) Riffle (Michael), 8-grandchildren and 12-great grandchildren, brothers: Grafton Wine, Denzil Wine, and Lewis Wine; sisters: Rita Cochran, Susie Wyant and Havonda Wine.
Junior’s wishes to be cremated are being honored by his family. Family is planning a memorial service to be held at later date.
