Obituary for Norman Edward Hill

Norman Edward Hill, 60, of Napier, WV, passed away on March 3, 2023. He was born on July 13, 1962 to parents James Edward Hill and Eva Belle Harless Hill.

Norman is preceded in death by his parents; brother, David Allen Hill; aunt and uncle, Pauline Harless Walker and Charlie Walker; grandfather, Forest E. Hill; grandmother, Dolly D. Purdue; grandparents, Roma Frazier Harless and Elizabeth Dolin Harless and mother-in-law, Sonya Price.

He worked for The Kroger Company for 25-years, was a Christian by faith and was quick to quote a scripture verse. Norman and his wife, Kim, enjoyed trout fishing on the Cranberry River especially when his daughter, Pauline, was able to join them. They would walk and ride bikes along the river catching trout. He also liked to go deer hunting, camping and loved boating on the lake. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Norman cherished his granddaughter, Isabella, and always looked forward to their FaceTime calls. He had a love for animals especially his horses and dogs.

Norman is survived by his wife, Kimberly Price Hill; daughter, Pauline L. Scott (Halfpint) and husband Byron B. Scott III; granddaughter, Isabella M. Scott (Cracker Jack); father-in-law, Roger Price; sister-in-law, Angela Price; brother-in-law, Kenneth Price (Lynn) and his beloved dogs, Sir Richard, Speck 2.0, Annie and Maya.

The family of Norman Hill is abiding by his wishes to be cremated. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
