I have fond memories of walking my school children past Mr. and Mrs. Barkets' house. Many times they were out in their yard working. The children always asked about the different flowers, especially the Irises in the spring. Their yard was always so beautiful. Often he would talk to the children, and on our way back to school, he was always waiting to give each child a lollipop. The children always loved getting their lollipops, and he loved seeing the children. My condolences to Mrs. Barkets and to his family.
